Custom CRM Development
KYCONNECTS builds custom CRMs for B2B teams that have outgrown spreadsheets or an off-the-shelf CRM. Each one follows your actual sales and support workflow, connects to your phone system, email and existing tools, and is handed over with its source code, so there is no per-seat licence to a CRM vendor.

Technology stack
How a custom CRM project runs
- 1
Discovery
Your workflow and your actual data, including the spreadsheets and the fields used for three purposes.
- 2
Scope
What version one includes and excludes, written down before any code.
- 3
Data model
Records, ownership and integrations agreed in writing, because they are expensive to change later.
- 4
Build
Laravel and Vue in reviewable increments, tested against your real records.
- 5
Migrate
Data moved and reconciled before cut-over, so gaps and duplicates surface early.
- 6
Handover
Source, documentation and a runbook. Another developer can pick it up without us.
Our Approach
We start by checking whether you need a custom CRM at all: many teams are better served by configuring or integrating the CRM they already pay for, and we say so. When a build is justified, discovery looks at your real data rather than the schema, the data model and integrations are agreed in writing before code, and the CRM ships in reviewable increments on Laravel and Vue that any competent developer can maintain after handover.
What's Included
Sales Pipeline & Lead Management
Leads, deals and follow-ups modelled on how your team actually sells, not on a vendor's default pipeline.
Call-Centre CRM
Click-to-call, screen pop and automatic call logging against FreePBX or Asterisk, so agents work from the record instead of a separate dialler.
Customer & Partner Portals
Self-service portals with enforced per-tenant data isolation, the pattern from the multi-tenant PBX portal in our case studies.
Reporting Dashboards
Role-scoped dashboards and scheduled reports pulled from the CRM's own data instead of assembled by hand.
Customising the CRM You Already Run
Extending an existing CRM with the fields, workflows and integrations it is missing, when that is cheaper than replacing it.
Integrations
Email, accounting, website forms and internal databases connected through their APIs, with written rules for which system owns each field.

Custom Software & CRM
10 signs your business has outgrown Excel
Spreadsheet failure is rarely dramatic, which is why it runs for years before anyone acts. Ten observable signs, what each one actually indicates, and which of them a CRM genuinely solves.

Custom software vs SaaS
The build-or-buy question is usually asked about the wrong thing. It is not whether custom software is better, but whether this particular workflow is where your business differs from everyone else's — because that is the only case that justifies owning it.

When is a custom CRM the wrong choice?
When an off-the-shelf CRM can be configured or integrated to fit. Most growing businesses should try that first. A custom build pays off when your process is the product, when per-seat fees grow faster than the team's value, or when the CRM must sit inside your phone and portal systems.
Will we own the source code?
Yes. The CRM is handed over with its source code, documentation and a runbook, on a standard Laravel and Vue stack that another developer can maintain without us.
Can the CRM work with our phone system?
Yes. We connect CRMs to FreePBX and Asterisk for click-to-call, screen pop and automatic call logging, and we run those phone platforms ourselves.
How much does a custom CRM cost, and how long does it take?
Both depend on scope, so we agree them in writing after discovery rather than quote a figure blind. Discovery is where the cost is controlled: it fixes what version one includes and excludes before any code is written.
Where is the CRM hosted?
On infrastructure you own or choose, deployed with Docker behind nginx. That lets you keep data in the region your customers and regulators expect.
Who maintains it after launch?
Your own team, another developer, or KYCONNECTS under a support agreement. The handover documentation is written so that any of the three can.
