Workflow & Website Automation with n8n

Workflow automation on self-hosted n8n: lead routing, CRM sync, scheduled reporting and website-form-to-CRM flows that your own team can open, read and extend. The same approach automates call reporting for a 100+ agent call centre in our case studies.

How a workflow runs

  1. 1

    Trigger

A form submission, an inbound call record, a webhook or a schedule.

  2. 2

    Collect

The workflow pulls the related records from your CRM, database or PBX.

  3. 3

    Decide

Routing and business rules, written where your team can read them.

  4. 4

    Write back

The result lands in your system of record, not in a tool nobody opens.

  5. 5

    Alert

A failure retries, then notifies a named owner instead of failing silently.

Our Approach

We simplify the process before automating it, because automating a broken process only makes it fail faster. n8n is what we deploy most often: self-hosted, its execution volume is not metered by a vendor, and every workflow stays readable by your team. Each workflow gets error handling, retries and an alert, so it cannot fail silently, and a named owner after handover.

What's Included

Lead Routing & CRM Sync

New leads assigned, enriched and synced to the CRM by rule, with de-duplication.

n8nWebhooks

Scheduled Reporting

Reports built from operational data and delivered on a schedule, like the CDR reporting in our case studies.

n8nMySQLSMTP

Website Automation

Website forms, bookings and quote requests that create CRM records, route to the right person and trigger follow-up, instead of sitting in a shared inbox.

n8nWebhooks

Secure API Proxies

n8n as a query proxy that returns only the fields a portal needs, keeping databases off the public internet.

n8nMySQL

Moving Off Per-Task Billing

Existing Zapier or Make workflows rebuilt on self-hosted n8n where execution volume makes per-task pricing expensive.

Workflow & Website Automation FAQs

Why self-hosted n8n instead of Zapier or Make?

Self-hosted n8n is not metered per task, so cost follows the server rather than execution volume, and data stays on infrastructure you control. Zapier or Make can still be the right choice for low-volume workflows, and we say so.

What happens when a workflow fails?

It retries, then alerts a named owner. Silent failure is the most common way automation goes wrong, so error handling is part of every workflow we build.

Can our own team change the workflows?

Yes. Workflows are documented and built in n8n's visual editor, so your team can open, read and extend them after handover.

What is website automation?

The steps after a visitor acts on your website, done automatically: the enquiry becomes a CRM record, is routed to the right person, gets an acknowledgement, and is followed up if nobody responds.

What should we automate first?

A task that is frequent, rule-based and cheap to get wrong. Processes with many exceptions or irreversible errors are usually better simplified first.

Is our data secure?

Workflows run on your own server, credentials stay inside n8n, and databases can stay closed to the internet behind a proxy that returns only the fields needed.

Talk Through Your Requirements
